Sharing Your Passwords
In order for me to be able to work on your site, I need the passwords to your (i) domain manager and (ii) your web hosting accounts. Emailing passwords is NEVER a good idea so this is the process I need you to follow.
(BTW once I finish work on your website and hand it back to you, for security purposes I will be asking you to certify that you have changed both these passwords. This is to ensure I do not have ongoing access and that your security is fully intact.)
1 Open this Kickoff form (automatically opens in a new tab). You will have received the password to this form via email.
2 Enter the Username for your Domain Manager for question 1 on the form
3 Enter the Username for your Web Host into question 2 on the form
4 Open this One Time Secret website (automatically opens in a new tab)
5 On the One Time Secret page – type the password for your Domain Manager then click ‘Create Secret Link’
6 Paste the secret link you just created into question 3 on the form
7 Hit ‘Create Another Secret’
8 Repeat the process but this time type the password for your Web Host then click ‘Create Secret Link’
9 Paste the secret link you just created on question 4 on the form
10 Hit ‘Submit’ on the form. (The form should look similar to the screenshot below).
